 CALENDULA OFFICINALIS (Calendula):

Indications: Abrasions, scratches, burns, superficial wounds, gnat bites, incised wounds, eye irritation. Calendula cream can be used as a lotion, for cleaning wounds and for 1st or 2nd degree burns. Creams are more often used on humans than animals due to presence of fur & feathers.

Symptoms: Skin irritation or injury requiring a soothing lotion or cleansing. Protects skin and promotes healing. Prevents infection. Not to be used for puncture wounds.

Dosage:     As ointment or tincture, apply topically as needed. As lotion – 10 drops to 8 ounces water – to clean wounds. In tablet form, 6X, 2-3 times day as needed up to 4 days.
