Discernment and Divine Right Action are always of great importance in responding to emergencies, illness and also trauma recovery. In the case of emergencies your greatest assets are:

  • Your intuition
  • Your knowledge of holistic emergency care & standard first aid (See my book : Holistic Emergency Care and Trauma Recovery for Animals)….
  • And the tools you have on hand or easily accessible to address the imbalances that your animal friend is experiencing.

If the emergency, illness or trauma recovery challenge is not life threatening but rather is of the nature that you feel can be corrected at home or whatever your current location is, and you have the holistic tools to care for the animal or at least stabilize her, then I encourage you to do so.

However ,

  • If you feel the situation might be life-threatening – call your veterinarian or appropriate assistance (poison control center, etc.)
  • If the situation is not life-threatening, but it is beyond your ability to care for without guidance, then contacting a holistic emergency practitioner or other emergency caregiver is highly suggested.
  • Also, if the situation might be life-threatening but a veterinarian or other required assistance is not available, then I offer that you call an holistic emergency caregiver such as myself for assistance.
